The Life Path Number

The most important number in a numerology report is your Life Path number which is determined from your date of birth. The Life Path number describes your inherent character and the nature of your journey through life.

FREE Life Path Reading

For a FREE Life Path reading first of all you will need to calculate your Life Path number. The Life Path number consists of three parts; the month (which represents approximately the first 30 years of your life, the day (which represents your life between the approximate ages of 30 and 60 and the year (which represents your senior years from approximately 60 onwards).

To calculate your Life Path number we start by reducing each part of your birthdate to a single digit or one of the master numbers 11 and 22 (these are special numbers which do not reduce further). Then we add together the single digits (or master numbers) representing each part of your birthdate.

Example 1:

If you were born on 25/7/1982 you would add together:
The month = 7 (this is already a single digit)
The day 2 + 5 = 7
The year 1 + 9 + 8 + 2 = 20
This is not a single digit or master number so we add the digits together again:
2 + 0 = 2.

Then we add together the 3 reduced components:
7 (month) + 7 (day) + 2 (year) = 16
This is not a single digit or a master number so we add the digits together again:
1 + 6 = 7
Your Life Path number in this example is 7.

Example 2:

If you were born on 22/11/1958 you would add together:
The month = 11 (this is a master number so does not get reduced further)
The day = 22 (this is also a master number and does not get reduced further)
The year 1 + 9 + 5 + 8 = 23
This is not a single digit or master number so we add the digits together again:
2 + 3 = 5

Then we add together the 3 reduced components:
11 (month) + 22 (day) + 5 (year) = 38
This is not a single digit or a master number so we add the digits together again:
3 + 8 = 11.
This is a master number so we do not reduce this number any further.
Your Life Path number in this example is 11.
